Bright Florals Mixed Media Card

Hello everyone!

Today I decided to upcycle an old card and book cover to create this Mixed Media bright-colored card inspired by the colors and pattern at The Card Concept's latest challenge.

The background is made with 3-4 different shades of blue and purple acrylic paints. The flowers and leaves are hand-drawn and painted with acrylic paints. All the acrylic paints that I use are from Camlin as they're high quality, affordable and easily available in my city.

I doodled with a black marker, added some shadows with sketch pens, and 3D Pearl Drops by Little Birdie Crafts for the flower center. Finished off the card with a few blue sequins and white splatters.

Entering this card for the following challenges:

6) The Sisterhood of Crafters - Favorite Technique Challenge (Adding multiple layers- mediums/ mixed media)
10) Sketch Saturday Week #612 (Using Sketch #494)

    1. thank you Monica, recycling always brings me joy! The Lynn Matthews quote is printed on the cover of one of my old notebooks. It's - Let me find my true potential, because when I do, the world will know me by my name. They'll say, "That's Lynn Matthews, she's one of a kind!"
