Hello there!

It's been a while since I have posted something. The weather in my city has been changing drastically every day. We don't really experience fall but that didn't stop me from creating a fall-themed card. 

I've always loved the idea of Fall - Warm tones, Thanksgiving, Halloween, etc. Today's card features one of my recent purchases - Altenew's Adore You stamp set.

I have been trying out various coloring techniques for the last few weeks but didn't like any of them. After a hundred tries, I really loved this one and decided to use it on my card.


I decided to include warm tones for the background. Stamped the flower multiple times onto some watercolor paper by Anupam Stores. Colored the flowers using my distress inks - festive berries, spiced marmalade, and scattered straw. Used Vintage Photo Distress Ink for the background and added some gold outliner over the top to get some shine.

After gluing down the card, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Essential Sentiments set by My Favorite Things in white. Added a piece of vellum and few sequins to finish off the card.

    Sidelle the colours in your card are gorgeous, definitely fall. In the UK we are just going into Autumn (fall) and some mornings there is a crispness to the air. Leaves are staring to fall off the trees and soon there will be lots of reds, oranges and browns, just like your card. Lovely sentiment too :)
